Keeper of the vineyards

(c) Breeze Vincinz

Honestly, Have you ever wanted to cry But couldn’t find enough joy in it So you sat in a darkened room With a million sticks of incense lit? You see I was made the keeper of the vineyards But my own vineyards I have not kept For while my I watched my babies in peace I gathered a longing for rest Lately I’ve seen death through dusty window sills He hasn’t looked back yet While I exist as a dry pipe dreamer I long to be wet Baby The once sweet smell of sister insence Now repulses me to the core It reminds me of the cold of innocence That wants to melt into a whoar Maybe If I draw enough pictures on my walls I could be engulfed in the colors I wouldn’t be recognized or used at all Just some paint strokes mixed in with the others *** *** *** #nationalpoetrymonth "Life As A Boy: Poems" by Breeze Vincinz Available NOW on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Life-As-Boy-Breeze-Vincinz/dp/1693306018
